Our story:

History:

Established in 2021, VAMOS represents over a decade of unwavering dedication to social service within our community, reaching out to those who need it most. Our journey began in 2009 when a group of compassionate individuals noticed the challenges faced by children and adolescents in the Rancagua Market. Amid the hustle and bustle, the first sparks of a profound love for our neighbors emerged, fueling the creation of our organization.

Over the years, we have recognized the vital importance of addressing the basic needs of our community members. We provide not just food and shelter, but also understanding, emotional support, and hope. Every action we take is driven by a genuine desire to alleviate suffering and foster an environment where every individual feels valued and cared for. This narrative is a testament to our journey, driven by love in every endeavor.

Beginnings and Expansion:

In our early days, we began by offering breakfasts and snacks to the poorest residents of Rancagua in the René Schneider and Manuel Rodriguez neighborhoods, as well as the Padre Hurtado community. Each meal was served with deep love and empathy, nourishing both the bodies and hearts of our neighbors.

As our commitment grew, so did our activities. Recognizing that love should be the cornerstone of every action, we expanded our services to include school tutoring, manual workshops, a football school, and guitar lessons. Each initiative was carried out with the same spirit of love and dedication, providing opportunities for learning and personal growth while offering genuine support. These foundational programs laid the groundwork for our current outreach and community support initiatives, consistently guided by the needs of our community

With the official approval of our NGO in 2021, we have strengthened our organizational structure, ensuring we can reach those in need more effectively and sustainably. Our determination remains unwavering as we continue to dedicate our energies to improving the quality of life for the most vulnerable. Our vision is illuminated by the promise of a more just and equitable world, and we are committed to building that world, step by step, with love guiding our every action.

Our work is made possible through the generosity of people like you. Ninety percent of donations go directly toward our program expenses. If you wish to support our efforts, you can donate at the link below.

History:

After a life-changing visit to Chile, I witnessed firsthand how Nicolas and Chris Moreno selflessly serve vulnerable children and families through food distribution, a soccer ministry, and Casa Belén, a free shelter for those needing medical care.

Despite reaching hundreds every month, the Morenos fund most of the nonprofit out of their own pockets and are at risk of scaling back due to lack of recurring donations.

I launched Vamos USA Foundation to help sustain their mission. We are a registered 501(c)(3), aiming to raise a minimum of $4,000/month to keep their vital programs alive and allow them to continue growing their ministry.
